Plexus: Feeding Starving Children and Saving Lives
People from around the world suffer from hunger, even those who live in first-world countries. There are still a lot of people who are impervious to the issue of hunger, even from first-world countries. Day by day, families and children are not certain when or where they will be getting their next meal. Christopher Pair, president of Plexus, knows the implications of world hunger. This is because he has been through hunger as a child, and that is why he is the man he is today.
Being the grandson of a Mexican immigrant and the son of a sharecropper, poverty is something that he has been through and has only escaped when their father joined the military. He then left the service and provided for his family as a gardener. In the past, there was not enough food that is offered to all members of the family. The nutritional value of their food was also not an assurance. As a young boy, Christopher and his family had to look for other ways to pay for food such as recycling. In exchange for some money to buy means, they traded soda cans.
Those years of uncertainty has made Christopher strive to get adequate education and go further in his career. Adding emphasis to prosperity and good health, Christopher Pair came to the direct selling industry prepared to change lives for the better. As a direct selling company that promotes people live healthier lives, Plexus Worldwide has sought the help of Christopher Pair to be their President of Operations and International.
For a long time, Christopher Pair has been in the industry to help other people make the most of their lives. He joined Plexus because of their goal to help other people overcome health challenges. The issue of world hunger is one of the things that Christopher Pair and Plexus is trying to overcome with their focus on health and nutrition.
In the year 2018 of June, Feeding America became partners with Plexus to help end world hunger. The partnership strives to deal with the issue of hunger. The Nourish One Initiative by Plexus is meant to feed 14 meals to be given to Feeding America for each Plexus Lean product as a monetary donation. For five months, 4 million meals have been donated.
Owing to the fact that Christopher Pair still wants to reach more than 10 million meal donations, their Nourish One Initiative has partnered internationally with Mary’s Meals. Each day, 1.3 million must be fed by the international child hunger charity you call Mary’s Meals. Basically, if you purchase any of the new products of Plexus Lean, a portion of it will be donated to this charity. On January 12, alone, Plexus has donated $25,000 to Mary’s Meals.
Mary’s Meals partners with community volunteers to create school feeding programs to 17 of the world’s most impoverished countries. Rather than begging to get a meal, children are encouraged to go to school to get a meal.
